Last 7 starts for Nido catching Noah....lets just get Lucroy, we need to make the moves at the margin to get that 2nd WC....Id pick up Lucroy with an eye on 2020 as well, we dont have a backup option in 2020 as well lets give Lucroy a small tryout. We are going to callup a 3rd C when rosters expand, Nido will be back on Sept 1st. Its Rene Rivera vs Lucroy i guess.
Cano since the 28th of June is batting 310 with over 500 slugging.... that will play.
Davis and Rosario bring incredible depth right now to this lineup with Cano and Ramos hitting. can survive an Alonso slump.

Sooo........do the Mets finally call up Herrera? Cano eas hitting well the last few games so that sucks but why disnt he at least try to get back to 1st base? Why did he just stop? I see injured players aleays continue to play until th play is over. He just stopped

Just when he really started looking like the Cano of old -- I swear we're snakebit. He rounded 1st on his way to 2nd and he blew out his left hamstring, he grabbed for it immediately.

Thts what happens when you are 36...finally getting hot and getting going....and you get hurt... .
Yeah its not about being snake -bitten .. This was a real risk when you bring in a 36 year old on a 5 year contract
finally getting hot .. he gets hurt
You will see that pattern for the next few years until he retires
