Call it draft-speak, but Tommy Tanous said the Mets had Wolf as the #1 HS pitcher in the country.

Something a little unusual for a high school pitcher. He only pitched. Didn't bat any during the season.

Prep baseball report had him up to 95 in April, with lots of room for more strength..... not bad

I like this pick a lot. But they are going to probably need to save some money, and a good amount somewhere else to sign him. Which shouldn't be too hard. I'm sure we got some college relief pitchers lined up.

Has to be some savings coming from Baty. If Tanous was sure that he’s going to sign, that’s a pretty good indication that they had a deal in place with him if he got to 12.
