In order of interest for me...
1. Ramos - I think he will be very good.
2. Huertas - left-hander with projectible increases in velocity; love the arm path
3. McKinney - Not happening this year
4. Garcia - Kung Fu Panda part II; I think he's going to be fun to follow all of the way up.
5. Wieck - 6'9" lefty; everyone knows I have a lefty pitcher draft philosophy. Tall gives it bonus points.
6. Ramirez - If he is signed, kudos to the FO on that one.
7. Chris(pin) Glover - I think I want to see him pitch one day, hit the other five in rookie ball and see the balls McFly out.
8. Roseboom - never underestimate the "Who is Freakin' Bobby Parnell?" effect from South Cackolacky.

If they start Conforto in Savannah, I get more excited. They won't.

My fave would have to be Michael Katz:

Among the NCAA statistical leaders:
sixth in the country in doubles
seventh in home runs
sixth in runs scored
10th in slugging percentage
second in RBIs
fourth in total bases.

Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year
Louisville Slugger First-Team All-American (just like Conforto)
Semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy and the Golden Spikes Award.

and went to my Alma Mater!

Winningham, Garcia, and all the high schoolers we don't sign.

It kind of depends on whether this is from a value perspective or just a ranking of who I think the best players are. I didn't like the Conforto pick that much, but I do think he's the best player we drafted. So I think I'll just rank in order of the best players.

1. Michael Conforto
2. Milton Ramos
3. Keaton McKinney
4. Eudor Garcia
5. Raphael Ramirez
6. Erik Manoah
7. Josh Prevost
8. Michael Katz
9. Jonathan Teaney
10. Luke Bonfield
11. Gabriel Llanes
12. Garrett King
13. Dash Winningham
14. Brad Wieck
15. Bryce Beeler

I wanted to mention Bryce Beeler just because his profile is very similar to Jake deGrom's. I don't actually know how good he is. I also like Tyler Badamo.

I liked the first three picks - Conforto, Ramos and Eudor. Like Dash, well, because 'Dash' is a great name. Like Katz - guy can rake. I really don't know a ton about the rest of the guys - wait and see - that's why I come here - I'm sure I'll get comprehensive coverage on progression of every player on a daily basis.

1. Conforto - I thought this was the obvious pick, best player at the spot, though not exceptional value for the spot, but you have to take what's there. I didn't really like the talent after Conforto much in this part of the draft this year.

2. Milton Ramos - my favorite pick as far as value. To me he looks as good as Trea Turner. Getting these tools at #85 is great. Right now, as a hitter, he maybe looks like a Tejada type slap hitter, but he's a skinny wiry 6' 2". I think this kid gets stronger as he matures and ends up an all around talent.

3. Bonfield - probably won't sign, but this is the best chance there for a late round steal. Wonder if he'll take maybe 4th round money. Or if it will be possible to fit that in the bonus pool.

4. The overall approach/philosopy. Bats early, then pitching heavy from picks 10-20. I've said this before, but I think there's a better chance of finding hidden gems in the pitching talent than the hitting talent in this range. I'm a big fan of loading up on the bats early, where I think the bats are less likely to bust, and then going with a quantity of arms after that, where I think the arms are more likely to surprise. This is somewhat what the Mets did in 2012, which I think is starting to look like a pretty decent draft.

My two favorite picks are Conforto and Ramos.

Yeah, I know, way to go out on a limb. But I think Conforto is being way undersold here and I like Ramos' ceiling as a player with high defensive value. The rest of the players I admit I knew nothing about before the draft but so far none really excite me like those two.

yeah aside front the obvious first several picks, there were a few mildly interesting later picks. It's really hard to distinguish between all the mid and late round arms so most of my "interestings" are position players. I agree with acer on the general philosophy they applied to this draft. And based on the few hits early on, this draft looks far better than last year's draft already. I'd have been more enthusiastic than I am now had they taken a shot on another problematic sign like Tate Blackman or Jeren Kendall both of whom lasted till the 3rd day.

Top Tier:
Conforto
Ramos
Garcia
Katz
Prevost

Mildly Interesting:
Mary Tyler Moore - LHed catchers are always interesting. showed nice quiet swing in the video.
Dash - just because he seems like a fun pick and one of these 1B types has to hit, no?
Durham - trying to distinguish these RHers isn't easy.
R. Ramirez - this year's Champ Stuart?
Tristan Gray - lanky LHed hitting MI with some eye-popping numbers fits the criteria to make this group
Berrios - athletic SHing OFers are always interesting. Wonder whether Tron will try to steer him away from signing.
McKinney - but of course he won't sign
Bonfield - that leg kick will never play as he goes up the line. Looked too much like a Yankee in that video… I hope they don't go too hard for this guy.

1. Michael Conforto
2. Eudor Garcia
3. Alex Durham
4. Milton Ramos
5. Dash Winningham
6. Gabriel Llanes
7. Erik Manoah
8. Josh Prevost
9. Brad Wieck
10. Joel Huertas

Obviously, this list would be different if we had a snowball's chance of signing Bonfield, Ramirez, McKinney and some others.

I just can't get excited about prospects that we won't sign.

1. Conforto - rated not only as BEST hitter in the draft but best PURE hitter as well so I
don't understand the dislike. We need hitters, hopefully the Mets hitting approach doesn't corrupt the natural hitting ability of these players. Can't wait to see what he does.
2. Ramos - not only looked fluid and great in the vidoe but a natural as well.
This could end up being the best pick in the draft, a future all-star, a future Ozzie?
3. Garcia - another interesting pick and perhaps Wright's replacement down the line if he stays at 3b.
4. Katz - would love to see his power and hitting translate to the minors but you have to be wary if he is another Lawley or Traijeron or Vaugh?
5. Prevost - looks like he could be a steady 3-4 type of pitcher.
6. any of the young pitchers with projectability - interesting to see what develops.
