McIntosh plays summer ball with the son of one of my old classmates. He told him that he was going to Vandy. My classmate told me he has blazing speed but his bat is not college level yet.

Sounds like he's realistic in his expectations and dreams, which is a good thing rather than foregoing one certain dream for a $100K bonus + the chance to chase a very unlikely one.
