We have a chance at a few of these guys with 3 #1's. Anyone (two, three)you guys find most intriguing? If we could net 3 out of this list who would you want it to be?-
Yeah, and if you're using the "He's 19" logic, then I guess the best report a scout could give us is:
"I have no idea. He's a teenager. He may go through 5 arm surgeries between now and his 30th birthday. He may add a pitch. He may lose a pitch. He may put on 30 lbs and add velocity. He may put on 50 lbs and eat his way out of the league. I literally have no idea what he is going to be."
But thats not what these guys are paid to do, nor what we are looking for them to do, right?

I like the college bats in this draft.
Buster Posey is a good defensive catcher putting up excellent numbers with the bat. I have doubts that he'll still be there. Gordon Beckham wasn't quite a top 30 guy a couple of months ago, but with the season he's having could also end up top 20. David Adams might be interesting at 33 or later. His current numbers are less impressive than Posey or Beckham, but he has hit very well in Cape Cod (more a doubles hitter). Brett Wallace is another to maybe look at at 33, if he keeps hitting like this. He could be the answer at 1B.
While you don't pick for need, are Hosmer, Alonso, and Smoak definitely all going to be off the board by the time the Mets pick? Wouldn't it be kind of out of the ordinary for three first basemen to be picked in the first 17 picks?
