Fernando Martinez?

I’m not sure where he was ranked .. but he was definitely heavily hyped and the Mets beat out multiple teams to sign him

Alvarez was ranked #9 on some lists. What do the top 5 guys get in signing bonuses anyway? over 3? over 4?

Also added 18year old catcher from Puerto Rico Jan Carlos Osorio. Not sure if this is part of IF period or not.

Based on name value alone it seems we expanded our scope of scouting into new countries outside of Latin America...

I believe some article I read on our class stated the Mets actually went for quantity this year over quality, which was what they did previous years.

I would pay a flat rate to pitchers, then give them a $10K bonus for every inch over 6'0".
